Based in near Red Beach we are open Monday to Friday offering short days 8:30am - 3:30pm, and full days 7am - 5:30pm.

free 9am - 3pm sessions

Tamariki aged 2 and over can join us 9am–3pm at no cost, an ongoing offer, not a limited trial. A relaxed way to settle in before moving to longer days.

We provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late afternoon snack. We are a nut-free centre and cater for all allergies and dietary requirements.

about Small Sprouts

Just a short drive from Red Beach, Small Sprouts is a purpose-built childcare centre in Stanmore Bay, offering a warm, nature-rich environment for tamariki across the Hibiscus Coast.

Our centre features a large outdoor space designed for water, sand and bush play, shaded by native pohutukawa and thoughtfully set up for curious young explorers. Inside, our passionate kaiako draw on the philosophies of Te Whariki, RIE, and Reggio Emilia to support each child’s individual learning journey.

Families from Red Beach love the peaceful setting, easy parking, and consistent team of qualified teachers. As a locally owned, family-run childcare centre, we pride ourselves on strong whanau partnerships and a nurturing, play-based approach that helps tamariki thrive, before they head off to Red Beach School or other nearby primaries.
